David established DP Solutions in 2005 to provide specialty design and R&D services to small manufacturers, and to help them manage growth and productivity challenges.  Bringing broad management and technical experience from a variety of manufacturing roles, David specializes in helping startups and rapidly growing small manufacturers.

David's experience includes 6 years as Vice President of Manufacturing for Sensus Flavors, a Hamilton, Ohio producer of botanical flavoring extracts utilizing advanced distillation technology, where he led manufacturing and process development.  Prior to Sensus, he drove business growth and product development as Director of Operations for Berghausen Corporation, a midwest manufacturer of botanical extracts, and spray dried powders.  

David also enjoyed 11 years as Vice President of Manufacturing for Chester Labs, a medical products company in Cincinnati, where he also headed R&D.  At Chester Labs he and his team developed and produced a broad line of personal care products and OTC pharmaceuticals for the health care industry.  David was awarded multiple patents for innovative packaging and dispensers for hand sanitizers and antibacterial soaps.  Earlier in his career, he contributed 11 years as Plant Manager for Cresset Chemical Company of Weston, Ohio, producer of specialty chemical products for the construction industry.  Each of these roles afforded David many opportunities to help develop innovative process solutions and contribute to the growth of successful manufacturing businesses.  

Most recently, David gained valuable technical and business experience while serving as Business Unit Manager for Tetra Pak, where he helped the multinational firm establish a US base of operations for building large milk evaporators and powder spray dryers for some of the largest dairies in North America.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University, majoring in Industrial Technology and Industrial Design.
